Community Outreach
Dunbar Community Outreach Network originated as a food distribution provider. Its founder, Pastor James C. Givens, noticed an underserved community, and an opportunity to be more than just a place where families could receive a box of food. He met with the organization’s Board of Directors and established its mission and purpose, to provide a HOPE for tomorrow and to inspire others to Hold On, to Press on, and Endure.
Our organization will provide various services under each facet of HOPE:
